Acid Resistance Rubber Lining
Sumit can afford perfect protection against the corrosive action of the great majority of chemicals and chemical solutions in common use such as alkali, acid as well as inorganic salts etc. whilst some rubbers offer better protection against specific chemicals and certain organic solvents. Natural rubber is easily available, easily processed, more easily applied because of the tack which gives better products. Its physical properties are very good and hardness from sponge like soft to hard as ebonite can be obtained. Thus, there is a wide range in selection of hardness Natural rubbers are compounded in three forms: soft, semi-hard, and hard. Soft natural rubbers have excellent physical properties, like tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and elongation. Soft natural rubbers have good resistance to most inorganic chemicals.
SUMIT lining ensures resistance to acid, alkali, temperature, abrasion, etc. We have done rubber lining of bulk carriers, tankers, Vessels, Structures etc. for the following materials: most acids, such as Acid Acetic Anhydride ,Acetone Acid Mine Water ,Aluminium Chloride, Aluminium Hydroxide, Aluminium Nitrate, Aluminium Phosphate, Aluminium Sulphate ,Ammonium Hydroxide, Ammonium Nitrate ,Ammonium Phosphate, Ammonium Sulphate, Barium Chloride, Battery (Sulfuric) Acid , Sodium Hypochlorite, Boric Acid , Calcium Chloride ,Calcium Hydroxide, Calcium Hypochlorite, Caustic Potash, Caustic Soda, Chlorine (water or gas) Chromic Acid, Copper Chloride, Copper Cyanide, Copper Sulphate, Distilled Water, Diammonium Phosphate ,Electro plating Solutions ,Ethyl Alcohol , Chloride Ferric ,Sulphate Ferrous , Chloride Ferrous , Sulphate Fluor sulfonic Acid, Formaldehyde ,Formic Acid ,Glucose, Glycerine Gold, Chloride Gypsum ,Ore Gypsum ,Hexane Hydrobromic, Acid Hydrofluoric, Acid Hydro fluor silicic Acid , Hydrogen Sulphide , Hypochlorous Acid ,Isobutyl Alcohol, Isopropyl Alcohol ,Lactic Acid ,Lead Lead Nitrate, Lead Sulphate, Lime Hydrated ,Lime Water Lye Solution ,Magnesium Chloride ,Magnesium Hydroxide, Magnesium Nitrate, Magnesium Sulphate, Maleic Acid ,Malic Acid Manganese Chloride, Manganese Sulphate, Mercuric Cyanide, Methyl Alcohol, Mineral Spirits Naphtha Natural Gas ,Nickel Acetate ,Nickel Chloride ,Nickel Nitrate ,Nickel Sulphate ,Nitric Acid Oxalic Acid, Petroleum Oils, Phosphoric Acid, Phthalic Acid (Powder),Potassium Cuprocyanide Potassium Cyanide, Potassium Hydroxide (Potash), Potassium Nitrate ,Potassium Sulphate, Propyl Alcohol ,Salicylic Acid, Sea Water ,Sewage Sludge , Silver Nitrate Soda ,Alum Soda Ash ,Sodium Antimonate Sodium ,Bicarbonate Sodium, Borate Sodium ,Carbonate Sodium, Chlorite Sodium ,Cyanide Sodium, Hydroxide Sodium, Sulphate Sodium ,Sulphite Starch ,Syrup Sucrose Solution, Sulfonic Acid ,Sulphur Dioxide ,Sulfuric Acid Sulphurous Acid ,Trisodium Phosphate, Zinc Acetate Zinc Chloride, Zinc Cyanide, Zinc Sulphate ,etc.
Soft Natural Rubbers: Strengths
- Excellent abrasion resistance
- Good Resistance to many acids and alkalis
- Remains flexible to very low temperatures
- Good resistance to mechanical and thermal shock
- Lower in price than most other linings -Easy to install and repair
SUMIT Lining Pipes:
- Protects costly equipment from corrosion.
- It has no limitations of diameter size.
- It can easily be connected to pipe lines, valves and fittings of other materials.
- Requires fewer supporting structures and is less likely to damage.
- It eliminates leakage and waste, reduces maintenance cost.
- Protects costly solutions from contamination.
- Can be safely and easily used even at high operating temperature and pressure.
For specific requirements we are always requesting our clients to fill up the questionnaire forms, which we are supplying on request, where we are asking more details about service conditions, with a view to helping them.
